Ok this morning i worked out with the wii fit for 40 mins and i am beat. I love my wii fit. I really do feel like i get a good work out with it. This morning i did the boxing for 16 mins and I wanted to give up several times and stop but i stuck with it and finished and i was very proud of myself for doing that. I have been getting up at 5:30 everyday monday - friday and working out on the wii fit for 30 mins. I am planning next week to try and bump it up to 45 mins.

Food wise I haven't done too bad this week. We made some egg bites that we are eating for breakfast every morning and for lunch i am leftovers this week.

I lost 4 lbs last week so that brings my total to 107 since my surgery in August. I am very pleased with this total. I am setting a little goal for myself to loose 120 lbs by my birthday which is on March 31st. So i have a little over a month to loose 13lbs. Hopefully I can do it. January i lost 14 lbs and so far in February i have lost 8lbs. I weigh in every thursday morning as soon as i get out of the shower.

Last night was our bowling night and we always to out to dinner before we go bowling. Last night we went to Cracker Barrel and i had one egg and almost a slice of bacon and 1/2 of a slice of toast. It was pretty cool last night our waitress had the bypass surgery 9 years ago and she was very helpful and totally understood about all of our special needs. She didn't look at us strange for not ordering anything to drink and she didn't say anything about us ordering from the kids menu.

well i guess that is all for today.

Hello Everyone!!
My name is Patrice and I had Gastric Bypass surgery on August 14, 2008. Since that time I have lost a total of 107 lbs. This has been one of the best things that I have ever done for myself. I feel so much better and I am able to do alot of things that I couldn't do before. This blog is going to be for me to talk about things that are going on with me after surgery and for me to be able to do a daily food journal. I need to find some way of keeping up with what I am eating now that my "honeymoon" phase of my surgery is over. I would still like to loose 63 more pounds before my year anniversary.

This is a little bit of history on me. I am 37 (fixing to be 38 next month) and I married the love of my life in February 07. We wanted to start a family and while we were visiting the doctor about what we needed to do to start getting pregnant we found out that I had a rare type of cervical cancer. We were very lucky that we caught it in time and I was able to have a biopsy and they found that it had never attached to the cervix. So my only treatment has been follow-up appointments with my Gynecologic Oncologist every 3-4 months. So far we haven't had any other sightings of any cancer. My oncologist is giving me some time to loose weight so I can have a healthy pregnancy. So that helped me make my decision to have Gastric Bypass surgery. I have been very successful with it so far and hopefully by the time I celebrate my one year after surgery anniversary we will be able to get pregnant. After I have a baby I will be having a hysterectomy to hopefully prevent any other cancer issues.

My husband has also had the same surgery a couple of weeks ago and is already down 43 pounds. I am so glad that i had a 6 month head start on him. Because I am sure he will be passing me up soon.

Well I guess that is all for today.
